Sorry to say that your changes will not close the road.
With the gate separate from the highway there is nothing to suggest that it is a part of the highway.
The node (barrier=gate) needs to be joined to the highway in order for it to be rendered or seen as a restriction to the highway.
As it is now, routers direct traffic along the highway past the gate which is to the side of the highway.

The square area you have mapped tagged access=no and barrier=gate is not attached/joined to the highway so does not restrict use of the highway. anyway I cannot see that this feature is actually a gate. Is it a fence?

The footway is well drawn and links onto Magnolia Drive correctly. However I think it is unlikely that "Unnoficial footpath when park gates are locked" is the paths name. It seems that this statement ought to be tagged as note=Unnoficial footpath when park gates are locked.

OSM is a live worldwide database from which folk and compamys compile maps of various kinds. It is not the place for private or unverifiable features there are other places and means to do that sort of thing.
I have removed your private POI, I hope you can understand the reason.

I have reverted this changeset because you inadvertantly dragged a highway node from Ireland to Germany.
Your POI is however not needed because Shona Art details are tagged on the building outline. I have added your opening hours and website information as that was not on the building.

I forgot to ask do you know they are houses? Because the building tag could be bungalow if that's a better description of the dwelling type.

You can change the imagery layer in the iD editor, (click the layers icon), Esri and Digitalglobe Standard are pretty good just there.
I've amended the addresses to whats usual in OSM, hope that's OK.

Hi, sorry to say there's a small anomaly at, Way: 184967148 a stream tagged as a bridge crossing Way: 488314032 a track tagged as a bridge. Ther's also a short section of duplicated track.
As I see you're doing several reverts I thought it best to let you know this problem.

Hi, Sorry to say you've drawn the Aldi shop on top of the closed B&Q shop. Duplication of a building.
The correct way to do this change would be to change/amend the tagging on the original shop outline. Thus keeping the history of all changes to this building in the OSM database.

I wonder if you realise that this changeset has deleted a lot of features and dragged other features out of shape.
It would be best to revert the whole changeset in order to ensure everything is put back as it was. Then you can more carefully make your "no access for motor vehicles" change.

Hi trigpoint, I agree,and a response would be unusual but I usually wait a few days so a response could be made before going back and removing fiction. Also the house numbers in the building don't look right.
