This bridleway need checking.There is a long known problem at the W end where there is no access through the wall of the Kirkby slate road hence a non definitive diversion to the gate to the S.At the E end it used to go through Moorhouse Farm but the farm has been converted into 2 houses large houses. Where does it go now?

This footpath needs checking. It is shown on the Cumbria definitive map but isn't visible on any aerial maps. It's probably academic since the whole of this area is access land anyway. Progress through mature heather is very difficult.

This hanger has been dismantled and removed as of july 2020

The new hanger and terminal is placed where the The lakes Gliding Club building used to be. Does anyone know where they have moved to?

Its a number of years since I visited this site (Pre GPS) ; it deserves another visit, to trace the ruined walls. There are many more tumuli than mapped. I hadn't realised how visible this site is in both the Bing and Esri (Clarity) Aerial imagery; and is easily visited from the ajacent bridleway.

Is this really a vinyard? or just a faulty tag
