Thanks and welcome!

Ah, I forgot to remove it from one of the driveways when I converted their highway type, didn't I? Thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks for setting me straight!

I see. The 'open sidewalks' thing predates my edit, and isn't it indeed a sidewalk? I had only touched it to deal with where it was near the stream.

Goes to show how I missed the existence of node/5562252104 not too far away...

I apologise - could you specify which way(s) you mean?

Oh, I see your changes. Mostly an improvement, thanks, but the boxcar is no longer refrigerated, so it's actually `air_conditioning=no`.

64469784 over 6 years ago

Yes, that is all true. As you might be able to tell from the image, the structure is a large wooden box that used to be on rail wheels insulated so that food could be transported by rail. It was then abandoned somewhere, and then the current owners fixed it up and turned it into a small gallery space that sells art, books, and other items.

Like a static caravan (or as we call them locally, mobile home), it is a structure that was designed to be transportable but has now settled to a presumably final location; in this case, that structure used to be a refrigerated boxcar.

Here it is:

This is generally true, but they seemed to have named their main office after the "address" rather than it merely being used as their (proprietary, yes) address. If you think that's not enough distance, feel free to undo that addition. Thanks for reaching out.

I believe I have fixed it (curiously, Overpass Turbo says I was the only person to have that particular typo outstanding).

69653499 over 6 years ago

Ah, my mistake. I will fix that later today, thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks for this!

Hi and thanks for the feedback! The first point is something I need to have more discipline about; often iD will restore a previous editing session, and I ought to just upload at that point before continuing.
As to the second point, there is a building that the GearWerks area is partially overlapping, no?

68122066 almost 7 years ago

I don't know what is in that space currently; it may be the listed entity or something else. I was mapping based off old photos, and saw somewhere online that the pie shop had closed, but was not able to confirm it; I erred on the assumption that it had. I can swing by with my dashcam next time I am in ABQ, and if I am lucky pick up a pie :)

I definitely never thought the buoy was fictional, and I have edited the Null Island English Wikipedia article to reflect the understanding I got from reading the referenced sources that while 'Null Island' can jokingly refer to a fictional island, the term also has a real-life use as an indicator of the area in which the buoy floats.
Of course, placenames are not really in the scope of OSM unless they represent a political reality (like `admin_level` relations), so the buoy should be mapped and the term for the general area not mapped.

Good call on swapping out the Q-numbers, I did not realise the buoy had one to itself.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for your first edit. I went ahead and added some details to the museum (such as hours open and that it is an aeronautical museum specifically). Feel free to ask any questions!

Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap! I added some details of the mall around you - just the ones that can be seen from aerial imagery like the building itself, parking spaces, roads, and trees. These can help with some of the functionality of OSM (for example, adding roads helps osm.org/directions give better driving instructions and travel time estimates). Feel free to improve this with your local knowledge, and ask any questions you have! :)

Thanks much. I only found the right tag the other day and had not gotten around to fixing it.

Hi, you hit upon my main reason I wanted my edit to be reviewed. I was trying to match the data published by the city of Santa Fe (https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1pQGo8Vr7L6EFIK5uqPhm9MWSEog) and the actual stop location and amenities verified with ground truth, but was not sure of the current status of tags; I thought a more experienced OSMer might know :)

The route direction was a typo, it should say "outbound". I will fix it when at a better computer tomorrow.

Thanks, I was wondering why it never seemed to be open when I would come by on Ftidays :)
