| 90550312 | over 5 years ago | We do welcome edits from business owners! However, there are a couple problems with your current changes. As TheAdventurer64 said, your business should be a separate point--here you've tagged the entire shopping center as your business (which doesn't help people find it within the building). We also don't permit advertising copy, including in the description tag--there's other places for that, but here we stick with objectively verifiable information. Finally, you should add a tag that explicitly describes what type of shop you have. In this case I'd assume 'shop=erotic' would fit. That's how you get a map icon, proper search results, etc. If you need help, just leave another comment here or reach out on https://osmus.slack.com. We'd love to help you get your business on the map and make sure it shows up properly.

| 89818453 | over 5 years ago | Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Your edits look good, except for the "name" tag on the node. "name" is only for the actual name of an object, not descriptions--for an unnamed intersection like this, it should be left out. If you haven't found the wiki yet, it's a great way to learn about all the different tags: osm.wiki/. OSM US also has a Slack group if you're interested in chatting with other mappers: https://osmus.slack.com Thanks for contributing!

| 88427368 | over 5 years ago | Hi, you marked the parking garage here as bicycle parking. Is this a mistake? |
| 77861265 | over 5 years ago | Hi! Why is this marked as a service road? It seems like Sells Street should connect directly to Marcie Street, without a service road.

| 74229393 | over 5 years ago | No problem, I was just making sure there wasn't something wrong with my tagging that I wasn't aware of. Thanks! |
| 74229393 | over 5 years ago | Hi, why did you change the cuisine tag on way/651761907 ? They serve local (cajun/creole) food, not crepes. Here is their website: http://www.louisianapurchasekitchen.com/ |
| 73681131 | over 6 years ago | I tend to be a bit overzealous about deleting description tags, sorry. Some of your descriptions in the past have been a bit too advertisy, like (changeset/73231862). According to the wiki, OpenStreetMap data needs to be objective and verifiable. Thanks for bringing this up, I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes :) |
| 73615673 | over 6 years ago | Yes. In the edit pane, click the back button, then search for the preset. It'll add/change the relevant tags and leave the other tags alone. |
| 73615673 | over 6 years ago | Hi! A couple issues with this changeset: - You should consider using iD's presets for hotel chains. Just type the name of the hotel into the search box and it will usually offer a preset. This is better for the map because it makes sure all hotels in a chain have similar tagging, which makes things easier to find. For example, it adds the brand and brand:wikipedia tags, which links all hotels of a brand. - Advertising does not belong on OpenStreetMap; please don't use the description tag for this. It will be promptly deleted. Thanks for your contributions! |
| 73557441 | over 6 years ago | Hi, the opening_hours you put here don't match those on the restaurant's website. Which one is correct? |
| 73555878 | over 6 years ago | Just to let you know, you put "New Orleas" instead of "New Orleans" in your last couple changesets. I've fixed them, just make sure iD doesn't autofill the typo in the future :)

| 73532097 | over 6 years ago | Hi. Please be aware that I'm deleting the node you added in this changeset. The tags are not correct and it is located in the middle of a parking lot. According to your user history, you have been notified of these recurring problems with your edits many times. If you would like your edits to not be deleted in the future, please listen to the feedback you have been given. Thanks. |
| 73046660 | over 6 years ago | Hi, it looks like the place you added is already on the map. I've deleted the duplicates.

| 72879916 | over 6 years ago | I just checked. They're not breezeways, they're fully enclosed and part of the building. Only the second floor is connected, though. I've marked the terminal as a multipart building with the right building:levels and building:min_level tags. |
| 72879916 | over 6 years ago | Well, it's an airport terminal, so I really doubt it's just breezeways. I'll take a look next time I'm around. |
| 72916220 | over 6 years ago | Hi! I've tagged these roads as `service=parking_aisle` in addition to `highway=service` to add a bit more detail. In iD, you can add both with the "Parking Aisle" preset. Thanks for your contribution to the map!
|
| 72879916 | over 6 years ago | Thanks for helping with the roads at the new airport terminal! These roads are no longer under construction (you can see this on the Bing imagery) but the terminal as a whole is. Also, the terminal is one building, so shouldn't there only be one object with a building=yes tag? I only drew it as multiple ways because it was easier to draw.

| 72850957 | over 6 years ago | Hello! Did you intend to merge these two nodes (3026 Holiday Drive and 3215 Kabel Drive)? It looks like a mistake. Thanks for your contributions!
|
| 72727306 | over 6 years ago | Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap from another local mapper! I've changed this from shop=coffee to amenity=cafe. The difference is explained here: shop=coffee. The wiki is a great resource if you're not sure how to map something. Thanks for your contributions!

| 69156500 | over 6 years ago | Hello! I've made some changes to the node you added here. I added the shop=security tag to identify what the business is. I've also deleted the description tag, as marketing text is not allowed on OSM. Please keep these in mind in the future.
