| 158473585 | about 1 year ago | Should the library=* tag be removed too? Guessing it's not open-air :D Btw, there's a separate building in Bing to the northeast of that L-shaped block. Could they have moved it? |
| 158304645 | about 1 year ago | Is it designated for cycles and foot? Can't remember the signage. I'll have a close look next time I'm down there. (obviously it's infinitely preferable by bike to all those cobbles…) |
| 158305532 | about 1 year ago | I don't so much care about the legal designation, I care more about what's on the ground (signs included, of course, but reality for preference every time) What to do with it? I'd argue there's far too much daytime bus traffic for it not to be thought of as *some* kind of oneway bus channel in the middle of a pedestrian zone. The central bus bit has a different surface treatment as well, which is why I bothered with the sidewalks: those become de facto channels for pedestrians as well, or at least favourable routes. One thing we ought to look closely at: I think the Eastern that's basically Carfax and the taxi rank is psv=yes, or at least taxi=yes (and bidirectional) |
| 158044114 | about 1 year ago | Thanks for that! Should note/4278786 be closed yet? |
| 157879751 | about 1 year ago | Fixed up with changeset/157960690. Thanks, all! |

You've edited the main database, but it's no problem if the locations are accurate. I'll convert them to private offices rather than public bars, so that people using the map don't get the wrong idea. They won't be visible on the default layers afterwards: consider making a private or shared map with uMap. That should be satisfyingly instant :-) Thanks for your contribution, and I hope we can offer something that isn't frustrating to use. |
| 157879751 | about 1 year ago | An update: > Hi Andrew, Sorry, been laid up with a cold for a few days. It was done out of frustration as there didn’t seem to be an available option that matched and was available in the list. Bar is at the top, so I just chose that. I mapped each office so we could get an idea of the relative locations and screen grab them for internal documentation purposes but they can be reverted if it’s an issue.

| 157879751 | about 1 year ago | Reached out. If I get a response privately, I'll paste it here. Otherwise, let's revert this change later today. |

| 157879751 | about 1 year ago | Agreed. And what's a BUNET? I bet they're not even public access bars😞 We probably ought to revert this one. |

Thanks for this. Council websites seem to know of the name, and refer to "the towpath between Fiddler's Island and Sidelings Island" a lot. Is it really heavily wooded enough to call the top bit a wood? Calling the bottom bit a meadow feels like a stretch too. From memory of squeezing past next to the marina fence, it has a lot of foot and bike traffic, definitely no grazing, and it's too narrow and raised to offer much in the way of flood protection compared to the surrounding area. Perhaps the "wood" and the "meadow" ends should be de-named, and a place=islet drawn for the islet as a whole? relation/15454091 should be an area, but that wasn't your doing. |
| 152603583 | over 1 year ago | Thanks for keeping it up to date. https://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/news/2023/part-a509-be-closed-monday-25-september-2023 says the job should be finished now, but live bus data https://bustimes.org/services/x5-bedford-milton-keynes#map says otherwise, but the bus Co.s uploading their routes to the public source bt.o use may not have updated it yet. Do you know if it's finished yet? OSM has the X5 route going along London Road, not the alternative route via Willen Road. I might reinstate it along London Road if it's due to finish up and go back to the way it was. |
| 156278512 | over 1 year ago | The Tingewick one was just an ordering issue in the relation, so it doesn't contribute to the bounding box |
| 156184364 | over 1 year ago | That's quite satisfying. Relatify even copes with Horspath Road, the self-crossing bit at the end of Between Towns Road, and the resulting route is gapless in JOSM afterwards. I may end up using this tool. #Relatify #Review |

One minor thing: please don't add ordinary, mobile cars or other vehicles from aerial imagery (node/12057827072). If they're something else as well (converted into a planter or a roadblock?), please tag them appropriately or add a description for the rest of us. Thanks! name=car is probably incorrect usage of the name tag too - but the entire thing probably shouldn't be on the map anyway. The gnis:feature_type thing on it seems odd too - is this an import? iD seems like an odd editor choice for that. Can you let us know that you're reading these? You've been asked multiple times about the changeset comment issues |

| 153792356 | over 1 year ago | Hi there, and welcome to OSM from me too! Thanks for the updates round BBL. Mind being a bit more descriptive in your changeset comments, though? Even if it's just realigning and neatening things, it's considered polite to your fellow mappers. Check the examples at osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments#Examples if you're stuck for inspiration! |
| 153603167 | over 1 year ago | So they've started demolishing it, have they? Thanks for the update! I've dropped a couple of notes to remind me to fix the 400/U1 bus route relation, and retag/relabel the old campus grounds when it all kicks off properly. osm.org/#map=16/51.7499/-1.1308&layers=N Feedback welcome, if you know the area! |
| 153491649 | over 1 year ago | No issues with its removal, thanks! Like you say, it's not necessary in the UK, like you say, and it doesn't work around JOSM's false positive. Just mentioning because I'm the author of https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Presets/UnitedKingdomAddresses , and I'm interested in getting it right (or at least, 90% right and palatable to anyone who prefers addr:substreet). |
| 153491649 | over 1 year ago | Thanks for this. So, no need for addr:nostreet in the UK I guess? I saw "[t]his tag is unused outside Lithuania" on the wiki, but I'm never fond of blanket statements like that. I'd be interested to know if anything's flagging it as deprecated. (Wytham's definitely an addr:suburb not an addr:place, given Linch Farm within it (Linch Farm is either an addr:place or addr:street, the sign could be read either way since it's a "this way to Nos. 1-5(?)" arrow. I think the houses to the E of the private Linch Farm driveway belong to it, since 1-6 at least are unadorned Wytham numbers too) |
