Why is it important to remind both new and experienced users to keep changesets limited to a specific area? First of all, not all editors can handle loading large amounts of data, as happens with iD (link). More importantly, a large bounding box (covering, for example, half the world or all of Northern Italy) makes it harder for other mappers—both local and remote—to review the changes, even when using modern tools like Better OSM or OsmCha.

I agree with you that the wiki doesn’t specify any strict rule about changeset size. In my view, the main issue with your changeset wasn’t the number of edits, but that it included modifications in two different cities (and provinces).

I’m not sure who complained about too many small changesets, but personally I think it’s better to keep one changeset per city, even if it contains a lot of edits. In your case, the cities aren’t very large, so a changeset like yours wouldn’t be too big or too small, it seems perfectly acceptable, even if it modifies all the websites at once. For larger cities, I might split it into smaller changesets, though.

Un piccolo consiglio: sarebbe meglio concentrare le modifiche su un’area geografica più ristretta, come Schio o Castelfranco, invece di mescolare luoghi lontani nello stesso changeset. Questo aiuta a evitare conflitti, facilita la revisione da parte di altri mappatori e mantiene la mappa più precisa.

Dal momento che si tratta di un bot, potresti considerare di regolarne le impostazioni in modo che divida le modifiche per area, così ogni changeset resta locale e più facile da gestire.
