of course I am against mechanical changeset.

But all these buildings were once imported from Regione Friuli Venezia Giuli with "mechanically" selected tags.

man_made=works + building=* would be (only) building=industrial according to Wiki, but wasn't selected then.

I know other Italian mappers which have changed tags on imported buildings and this has never been a problem.
I never felt doing a mechanical changeset when correcting the tagging of old imports but I am sorry if this was wrong.

Facebook disguises that these building footprints come from Microsoft ( osm.wiki/Microsoft_Building_Footprint_Data ). So please follow the import guidelines before uploading larger chunks of them.

Good changeset comments are absolutely essential for collaborative editing. Anti-social mapping behaviour can ultimately lead to blocking an account.
