Correct name of this village is SILBELE. That is an 'i' is missing in the name

the correct name of this village that is widely used is SORBELE.
The first 'A' should not be present. Sorbele with an 'e' at the end is more common among the Sissala people, however, a few people, including natives of this village, pronounce it as SORBALA.
SORBELE is however the more common and largely more formal form of this village's name. These two spellings reflect dialectal differences among various clans of the Sissala People of the Upper West Region of Ghana.
