The Local one is more "real" in that it actually defines preservation guidelines, while the NRHP doesn't define very much, and is (as far as I can tell) "little more than recognition by the government that the resource is worthy of preservation." However, as I understand landuse=residential, it only refers to the predominant use, so shops can exist in a landuse=residential area, and landuse can be refined down over time. This particular landuse area is much broader than I would probably draw myself if done from scratch, so I'd encourage you to refine it if you have the time :) |
